PROJECT:

OUTCAST BEZEL

The ‘Outdoor Utility Timepiece, Compass and Survival Tool’ – or ‘O.U.T.C.A.S.T.’ for short, is a new tool watch bezel, being developed in phases.  We are currently seeking people to test our experimental bezel (either in their own watch, or a watch we offer) which combines:

  • a compass bezel
  • tide tracking
  • countdown timer
  • an elapsed MINUTE timer
  • 12-hour markings (a second time zone, or elapsed time in HOURS)
We will soon have a new dial for long distance shooters, but for now we have a ‘no date’ dial combines elements from both Field & Sea watches, with a 24-hour inner track, and NON-luminous 3, 6, and 9 markers, designed to help naturally orient the watch quickly, in the dark.
