Frequently Asked Questions

Are your watches made to order?

Yes. Every watch is built to order.

From time to time we’ll have completed watches on hand in Fort Lauderdale. When we do, they’ll be clearly marked as “In Stock / Ships from Fort Lauderdale” in the store. Everything else is built once you place your order.

Where do watches and parts ship from?

  • Complete watches usually ship directly from our factory in Hong Kong.

  • Parts, straps, and small items usually ship from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

  • For larger orders or some international shipments, parts may ship directly from Hong Kong as well.

We route things in the way that gets them to you the most reliably.

How long does it take to get my watch?

Assuming we have all the parts on hand:

  • Build time: about 1 week for assembly and testing

  • Transit time: typically around 15 days from Hong Kong to you

Plan on roughly 2–3 weeks total from order to delivery for made-to-order pieces, depending on your location and carrier performance.

What if my order includes pre-order parts?

Some components—like new bezels and dials—are released as pre-order items.

  • If your build includes pre-order bezels or dials, your watch can’t be built until those parts land at the factory.

  • Pre-order lead times vary by part. If you’re ordering right as a new run is being made, expect that to add weeks to the normal 2–3 week timeline.

We’ll note pre-order status and estimated dates on the product page whenever possible.

Can holidays delay my order?

Yes. Chinese New Year and other regional holidays can slow down both production and shipping.

During these windows:

  • The factory may be closed or operating with reduced staff

  • Shipping networks can be backed up

If your order falls around Chinese New Year or other major holidays, expect extended lead times.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship worldwide to most countries that standard carriers can reach.

If you’re unsure about a specific destination, contact us and we’ll confirm options and timing.

What movements do you use?

We only use Seiko NH35A (time/date) and NH34 (GMT) movements, sourced from Japan.

No mystery calibers, no no-name movements. Just proven Seiko workhorses that watchmakers around the world know how to service.

Are your prices inclusive of tariffs and duties?

Yes. Our listed prices are inclusive of tariffs and similar import costs on our side.

Depending on where you live, local VAT, GST, or sales tax may still be charged at checkout or on delivery—that part is set by your country or region.

How tough are these watches?

We build and market these watches for people who are hard on equipment. Cases, bezels, and movements are specced and tested with real use in mind.

That said, no watch is indestructible. There’s a line between a manufacturing defect (our responsibility) and damage from use/abuse (not a warranty issue). We look at each case in good faith, but not every broken watch is a warranty claim.

What does the warranty cover?

We offer a 1-year limited warranty on materials and workmanship from the original purchase date.

Covered examples:

  • Defects in the movement, case, crown, crystal, or caseback

  • Hardware issues with bracelets/straps caused by manufacturing defects

Not covered:

  • Normal wear (scratches, dings, strap wear, fading, etc.)

  • Damage from accidents, impacts, abuse, or unauthorized repairs

  • Water damage after the crown has been pulled and the time has been set

Full details are in our Warranty section, but that’s the short version.

Is water damage covered?

  • Every watch is water-tested before it leaves the factory.

  • If a watch shows moisture immediately, right out of the box, before you set the time, contact us right away.

However:

Once you pull the crown and set the time, water damage is not covered under warranty.

At that point, how the crown is used (fully seated or not, operated underwater, etc.) is out of our control.

How do I get a repair or warranty service?

You’ll need an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) before sending anything in.

  1. Contact us with:

    • Name and contact info

    • Order number / proof of purchase

    • Clear photos of the watch and the issue

    • Short description of what happened and how the watch has been used

  2. We’ll review and:

    • Let you know if it appears to be a warranty issue

    • Issue an RMA number and shipping instructions

    • Let you know whether we’ll repair, replace, or send you parts for a simple fix

  3. Only ship the watch once you have an RMA. Packages without an RMA may be refused or returned.  SEE WARRANTY PAGE FOR MORE INFORMATION
