Adventure Field & Sea 3,6,9 Dial

This is the original OUTCAST “flagship” dial – the one that started the brand. It was designed to work with the first O.U.T.C.A.S.T. (OUTDOOR UTILITY TIMEPIECE COMPASS AND SURVIVAL TOOL) multi-function bezel as a straight-up field and survival tool, not a dress piece.

What it is

• 3-6-9 “Explorer” style dial, sold as a loose part

• Built for NH35 (no-date) or NH34 GMT builds

• Gloss black, high-contrast print, meant to be read at a glance

Specs & compatibility

• Diameter: 28.5 mm – sized for standard NHxx cases

• Movement compatibility: NH35 (no-date) or NH34 (24-hour GMT)

• Finish: Gloss black surface with crisp white printing

• Lume: Large round lume plots for maximum legibility; silver 3-6-9 numerals are non-lumed so you can orient the dial instantly in the dark

• Markers: “Explorer” 3-6-9 layout with bold circular plots and a large triangle at 12

• Inner track: Printed 24-hour scale – works with a standard 12-hour movement, or can be paired with an NH34 and a 24-hour bezel for a true GMT setup

• Text & logo: OUTCAST star at 12, “Outdoor Utility Timepiece – Compass and Survival Tool” at 6

Design notes

This dial was built function-first: easy to orient by feel and shape, readable in low light, and clean enough that the bezel can do the extra work. It’s the first piece that defined what OUTCAST is supposed to be – a practical field instrument that just happens to be a watch.
