How to Use the Bezel

1. Countdown Timer
Set your desired time against the minute hand. As the hand approaches the marker, time is running out.

2. Elapsed Time (Minutes)
Align the triangle with the minute hand at the start. Read elapsed minutes as the hand moves.

3. Compass (Northern Hemisphere)
Point the hour hand at the sun. Split the angle between the hour hand and 12—this midpoint is south. Rotate the bezel so “S” aligns there.

4. Second Time Zone (12-hour)
Rotate the bezel forward or back by your hour offset. Read the second time zone where the hour hand points.

5. Elapsed Time (Hours)
Use the hour hand against the bezel’s 12-hour scale to track longer durations.

6. Tide Tracking
Set to the last high tide. Advance ~50 minutes per day to stay aligned with the tide cycle (approximate).
